Beth Myers Obituary, Death – Lori Beth (Furbeck) Myers became an angel on August 12, 2022, after a sad accident on her family’s home. Her age was 41. Beth was born December 25, 1980 in St. Joseph, MO to Larry and Dianne (Barrett) Furbeck. Born in Dearborn, she graduated from North Platte High School in 1999 as the youngest of three. Beth loved animals and wanted to be a vet since childhood. She attended MU-Columbia’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Beth, a hard worker, advanced her veterinary medicine degree and graduated in 2006.

After college, she became a consulting veterinarian and proprietor of Myers Veterinary Service. Beth met Lathrop’s Tyler Myers, her eventual husband, after relocating to Columbia. They married in Dearborn Christian Church on June 3, 2006, after dating in college. Beth and Tyler built their rural Camden Point home. Their home was her paradise, nestled among farms and overlooking the sunrise. First son Carson Patrick was born on February 1, 2011, and second son Colin Wayne was born on May 2, 2014. Beth loved being a wife and mother.

Beth played piano on Sundays at the Dearborn Christian Church, where she was baptized. She had many interests and was a bright light in everyone she met. She prioritized spending time with family and friends. Beth is survived by her husband, Tyler, and sons, Carson (11) and Colin (8), of the home; parents, Larry and Dianne Furbeck, of Dearborn; brother, David (Lee) Furbeck, of Mount Pleasant, MI; brother, Darren (Wendy) Furbeck, of Dearborn; her in-laws, Anita and Dusty Norris, of Edgerton; Trevor (Leela) Myers, of Smithville; extended Beth’s family is grieving her loss while honoring her spirit. Dearborn Christian Church, 205 S May, will host a Celebration of Life visitation on Friday, August 19th, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

Elizabeth Buckner will officiate the 10:30 am funeral at the Dearborn Christian Church on Saturday, August 20th, arranged by Vaughn Funeral Homes in Weston. Dearborn Community Cemetery will host a graveside service. We welcome all. In Beth’s memory, the family has donated to the Dearborn Christian Church Foundation, PO Box 13, Dearborn, 64439.
